HanchorBio Expands Global Pharma Engagement at BioJapan 2026
Company schedules over 15 partnering meetings to advance co-development opportunities for its FBDB™ pipeline in oncology and autoimmune diseases
[Taipei, Shanghai, San Francisco | October 12, 2026] – HanchorBio, Inc. (TWSE: 7827), a global clinical-stage biotechnology company developing next-generation immunotherapies, today announced its participation in BioJapan 2026 in Yokohama, Japan. The Company has scheduled more than 15 partnering meetings with regional and global pharmaceutical leaders to explore co-development and strategic collaboration opportunities across its proprietary Fc-based Designer Biologics (FBDB™) platform.
Japan remains a primary focus of HanchorBio’s international business development strategy. Following discussions initiated at BIO Asia–Taiwan earlier this year, several Japanese pharmaceutical companies have advanced HanchorBio’s assets into deeper evaluation stages.
“BioJapan provides a key forum to accelerate our momentum in Asia’s largest pharmaceutical market,” said Scott Liu, Ph.D., Chairman and CEO at HanchorBio. “As our programs mature, we are seeing increased global interest in both our clinical assets and our underlying FBDB™ platform to address high unmet needs in oncology and autoimmune diseases.”
Key Pipeline Highlights
HCB206: A novel bispecific fusion protein targeting CD20 and SIRPα, extending HanchorBio’s macrophage-directed strategy into B-cell-mediated autoimmune diseases to achieve deeper, more durable B-cell depletion. The asset is currently in the preclinical, IND-enabling stage.
HCB101: HanchorBio’s lead clinical-stage SIRPα-based innate immune checkpoint inhibitor, serving as the cornerstone of its oncology strategy.
HCB303: A first-in-class trispecific fusion protein biologic targeting SIRPα/CD47, PD-L1/PD-1, and TIGIT/PVR pathways. Designed to engage macrophages, T cells, and NK cells simultaneously, HCB303 recently received U.S. FDA Investigational New Drug (IND) clearance to begin Phase 1 trials. It is HanchorBio’s second trispecific fusion protein biologic to enter human clinical development.

Building Global Relationships Across the FBDB™ Platform
HanchorBio continues to advance global business development alongside the clinical and preclinical development of its pipeline. Through BioJapan and other international industry and scientific forums, the Company is expanding relationships with global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and exploring strategic collaborations that can support the global development of its programs.
As HCB101 advances in clinical development and HCB301, HCB303, HCB206 and other programs continue to progress, HanchorBio remains focused on building long-term global relationships that can maximize the development potential of its differentiated pipeline and FBDB™ platform.
