Organization structure

HanchorBio is dedicated to building an innovative immuno-oncology biologics development platform. Through a lean and diverse team collaboration model, we drive translational medicine from early-stage research to clinical application. Our organizational structure is designed to emphasize cross-departmental integration and operational efficiency, ensuring that every research and development milestone is achieved on schedule.

Department Responsibilities
Chairman’s Office
  • Convene shareholder meetings and board meetings on a regular basis, handle major matters authorized by the Board of Directors, and ensure the implementation of board resolutions.
Audit Office
  • Audit the design, effectiveness, and deficiencies of internal control systems; assess operational efficiency and provide recommendations for improvement.
Audit Committee
  • Fair presentation of financial statements.
  • Appointment, dismissal, independence, and performance of external auditors.
  • Effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Oversight of existing and potential risks.
Compensation Committee
  • Advise the Board on executive and non-executive director remuneration.
  • Formulate compensation policies and structures (salaries, incentives, stock options).
  • Provide recommendations to the Board on directors’ compensation disclosures in annual reports.
  • Ensure no director or related party determines their own compensation.
Office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
  • Plan corporate strategies and operational goals.
  • Manage fundraising and capital.
  • Supervise departmental project progress and outcomes.
  • Oversee corporate image, public affairs, and media relations.
R&D Division
  • Draft research and development (R&D) strategies, initiate R&D projects, and plan project timelines and budgets.
  • Establish drug development technology platforms and build a highly efficient and specialized R&D team; oversee intellectual property (IP) strategies, including patent applications and maintenance.
  • Manage project development progress and risk control.
  • Coordinate stakeholder management to ensure effective communication with internal teams, strategic partners, external advisors, and outsourced vendors.
Process Development Department
  • Cell line development and selection, media optimization, process scale-up, Purification process development and analytical method development
  • Development and validation of QC methods for protein structure, biochemical properties, immunological assays, and in vitro cell activity.
  • CDMO project management.
Clinical Department
  • Design and conduct clinical trials, oversee CROs, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure compliance with FDA and international standards.
Business Development Department
  • Manage R&D collaborations and licensing, evaluate
  • Negotiate business opportunities, oversee project management.
  • Maintain strategic partnerships.
Finance & Administration Division
  • Manage fundraising and financing, integrate administrative resources, plan accounting processes.
  • Oversee accounting, taxation, treasury, shareholder services, IT, and general administration.
Human Resources Department
  • Formulate HR strategies, shape corporate culture, manage compensation, recruitment, training, performance, and employee relations.
Legal Department
  • Review and draft contracts, establish and manage legal systems, handle disputes, promote compliance, and manage legal risks.
