Beyond T Cells: Adding Another Layer to Immunotherapy<\/strong><\/p>\n

PD-1\/PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitors transformed cancer treatment by reinvigorating T-cell immunity, but many patients still do not respond or eventually develop resistance.<\/p>\n

HanchorBio\u2019s\u00a0Myeloid Enhancer Platform\u00a0is designed to activate upstream innate immunity and add a complementary layer to existing cancer therapy.<\/p>\n

The Company\u2019s lead clinical asset,\u00a0HCB101<\/strong>, is an engineered SIRP\u03b1\u2013Fc fusion protein designed to block the CD47\u2013SIRP\u03b1 \u201cdon\u2019t eat me\u201d checkpoint and restore macrophage-mediated tumor-cell phagocytosis.<\/p>\n
